This recipe came from a lady in our ward. She taught my kids in preschool. Her name was Sister Shirley Walker. She was the sweetest lady. She would always bring this to ward parties. It as a few strange ingredients but is delicious! She shared this with my friend Jeri.
I don’t know how long it takes for the ice cream to freeze, about 45 minutes to 1 hour. I’m just guessing
- 2c. sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 qt. half n half
- 1 large can crushed pineapple ( Do Not Drain)
- 3 bananas, sliced
- 1 package orange Kool Aid
- juice of 1 lemon
- Mix all ingredients in ice cream freezer and fill to fill line on freezer with milk. Mix as directed in your freezer instructions. When frozen pack with ice and let stand 15 minutes.
