This recipe is absolutely delicious. It is a great way to use your fall apples. This recipe came from a dear friend of mine. I love the way it makes my home smell as it bakes. You can add it to Pinterest or your Zip List.
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/4 cups oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups cored, peeled, and grated apples
- chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Cream sugar oil and eggs together. Add remaining ingredients except apples and nuts. Mix well and then add apples and nuts. Pour into 2 loaf pans sprayed with cooking spray. Cook at 325 for 45-60 minutes. It is done when you insert a toothpick and it comes out clean.
Notes
Cooking time ranges between 45 and 60 minutes.
