Ingredients

  • 2 pounds hamburger
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup celery
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 3 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup barley
  • 1 large can diced tomatoes
  • 4 1/2 cups water
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1(46 oz.) can tomato juice

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger with onion. Season with salt and pepper. Drain off grease. In a large pot add remaining ingredients and season to taste. Simmer until vegetables are tender 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Notes

I found the barley by the rice.
