Peanut Butter Supremes

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening ( Crisco)
• 1 1/4 cups peanut butter
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2. In a large mixing bowl, mix shortening and peanut butter; mix well. Beat in sugars, beat well. Beat in eggs one at a time, until incorporated.
3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt and soda.
4. Slowly add flour mixture into peanut butter mixture.
5. Using a cookie scoop, shape into balls and place on cookie sheet, Flatten each ball with a fork making a crisscross pattern.
6. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes or until the edges of the cookies start to turn a golden brown.
7. Remove from oven, let cool on pan for a few minutes and then transfer to wire rack.
