This is a recipe from sister Tammie, she always says she is challenged by cooking. She is an amazing teacher, and has so many other talents she doesn’t need to be a good cook. These are great beans!
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 3 pounds hamburger
- onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 2/3 cups boiling water
- 2 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 1/2 cup ketchup
- 3 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 (29 ounce) cans B & M baked beans
Instructions
- Fry bacon until crisp, remove from pan, set aside.
- Remove bacon grease from skillet, cook bacon, onion, garlic and celery. Season with salt and pepper.
- While hamburger is cooking dissolve bouillon in boiling water.
- Remove grease from hamburger, add all ingredients into hamburger.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Covered
